KENOSHA, WI—The cabaret license for MVP Sports Bar has been revoked. The establishment was the site of a shooting last month, during an incident that was characterized as overwhelming due to the amount of people congregated in the area.

Only seven security guards at the bar were on duty when every available Kenosha Police officer-and those from other departments-were called to the 32-hundred block of 60th street in the early morning hours of June 30th.

One person was seriously wounded in the shooting. The loss of the cabaret license means that MVP can no longer host DJs and live music. Police responded to 45 calls at the bar in eight months.
