KENOSHA, WI (WLIP)–A third candidate has thrown his hat into the ring to be Kenosha’s next mayor.

Koerri Elijah became well-known locally during the 2020 Kenosha Riots.

Elijah would live-stream the events of August 2020 while riding around Kenosha on his skateboard.

A campaign press release also credits Elijah with helping to prevent the burning of Kenosha’s Dinosaur Discovery Museum during the riots.

Elijah joins Kenosha Alderman David Bogdala and former Alderperson Lydia Spottswood as announced candidates to replace John Antaramian.

If all three or more stay in the race a primary would be held in February.
