Long Grove Shooting Leaves Woman Dead

(Long Grove, IL) A woman is dead after a shooting in the Long Grove area. Lake County Sheriff’s officials say they were called just after noon on Monday to a home in the 54-hundred block of North Tall Oaks Drive.
A 47-year-old woman was found shot inside, and was pronounced dead at the scene. Officials believe this was an isolated incident, and that there is no further threat to the community.
The Lake County Major Crimes Task Force is investigating.
