KENOSHA, WI (WLIP)–A Kenosha man was arrested on Sunday morning after allegedly firing a gun at a local bar and then leading police on a chase.

The 32-year-old was booked after police responded to the 14-hundred block of 52nd Street just before 2:30 AM for a shots fired call. Police reports say the suspect was in a dispute with bar patrons before firing his weapon.

He then fled but was spotted by officers. He fled north and was stopped with spike strips before being arrested.

Police say they found a nine millimeter handgun in the suspect’s truck.

He’s expected to face several charges including recklessly endangering safety and fleeing and eluding police.
