KENOSHA, WI—A Kenosha man was convicted this week of providing the drugs that killed his friend.
Michael Cooper was found guilty in connection with the death of James Herakovich in December 2017.
Herakovich was ruled to have died of a heroin overdose and investigators were able to link Cooper to the death through both text messages and DNA evidence found on a bag of drugs found with Herakovich’s body.
Cooper faces 25 years in prison when he’s sentenced in January.
