Man Dies in Head-On Crash

KENOSHA, WI (WLIP)–A 52 year old Kenosha man died after a two vehicle crash on Friday. He’s identified as Isaac A. Melendez.

It happened just before 4 PM on Green Bay Road in Somers.

The Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department reports that a vehicle crossed the median from the northbound to the southbound lanes near the 4-hundred block of Green Bay Road. The vehicle struck another head-on leaving the driver of the first SUV dead and two in the other vehicle injured.

A 35 year old man and a 26 year old woman were taken to the hospital with severe injuries but are expected to survive. The crash remains under investigation.
