Man Gets Prison For North Chicago Murder

(Waukegan, IL) A man is on his way to prison, after a sentencing hearing for a North Chicago murder.
Andre Jones was given 52-years behind bars for the March 2018 shooting death of Melvin DeVost II. Jones was convicted back in March of this year, after just two hours of deliberations by a Lake County Jury.
The 35-year-old had three prior weapons convictions that were said to factor in to his final sentence.
