Kenosha–A seven-hour standoff between a man and authorities in Kenosha ended last night around 10 p.m as law enforcement personnel and equipment left the scene. It started around 3pm in the area of 52nd St and 24th Ave. with three blocks shut down mainly along 52nd Street near Spanky’s Bar. Authorities called out to the man, saying they had a warrant for his arrest. Kenosha Police, The Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department and the county-wide tactical response squad set up a command post nearby with heavily armed officers ready to fire rifles and tear gas. A robot made several attempts to breach a front window of the gray duplex where the suspect was believed to be holed up well past 8:30 p.m. Around 9 p.m., flash bang after flash bang was heard in the house. Police ran inside and could be heard checking the house. After 10 p.m. police started to clear the scene. No one was seen leaving the house in handcuffs.
