BURLINGTON, WI—A boater was rescued from Brown’s Lake in Burlington yesterday after he was thrown off his fishing boat following a collision with a jet ski.

The incident happened just before 2 PM near the Fischer Park Boat Launch. The jet ski was towing an inner tube carrying four people at the time of the crash.

Witnesses say the man was knocked unconscious but was still breathing and struggling to stay afloat. One of the people on the jet ski was able to stabilize the man while another boater lifted the man out of the water, taking him back to shore.

The man was then flown by Flight For Life to a nearby hospital. His condition was not released.

The Racine County Sheriff’s Department says that no other injuries were reported.
