“Most Wanted” Suspect in Kenosha Homicide Arrested
Kenosha, WI (WLIP)–A suspect has been arrested in California in connection with a fatal shooting earlier this year.
Anthony Santana was arrested last week after apparently posting about the case on social media.
A person who saw that post tipped off U.S. Marshals who had Santana on their most wanted criminals list.
Santana and three others were allegedly involved in a gunfight that happened in a church parking lot on 60th Street near 20th Avenue back in June.
The shootings left one man dead and two others wounded.
Santana and another suspect reportedly tried to buy drugs from 19 year old Mauricio Alvarez with fake currency.
All parties pulled out firearms and began shooting.
It is not thought that Santana fired the fatal shot but the 20-year-old was wanted as a party to the crime.
A half a million dollar warrant for his arrest was issued.
The deceased man’s older brother, who reportedly fired the fatal shot by accident, is being held on a $500,000 bond.
Another suspect Tayvion Taylor was arrested and is being held on a $250,000 dollars bond.
