Mother and Daughter Charged With Injuring Teen

KENOSHA, WI—A mother and daughter has been arrested after a fight that happened late last week.

Police reports say that the 40 year old woman and a 13 year old girl were involved in a melee with several other people Thursday afternoon near the Lincoln Park area.

The teen and another girl were fighting near the 66-hundred block of 18th Avenue when the suspect called her mother to the area. The mother arrived and the fight was broken up.

However, that’s when the mother reportedly hit the other girl with a tire iron. To make matters worse the teen got into her mother’s car and drove it into the other teen, striking her. She was treated for minor injuries.

The mother will be charged with child abuse and recklessly causing harm. The teen charged with recklessly endangering safety.
