Mundelein Boy Stable After Being Shot Inside Apartment

(Mundelein, IL) A young boy was in stable condition after being shot inside of a Mundelein apartment.

The incident took place on Saturday night in the 200 block of Longwood Terrace.

The exact nature of the shooting is still unknown, but a juvenile male was taken from the scene, to Advocate Condell in Libertyville with a gunshot wound.

The incident remains under investigation by Mundelein Police and the Lake County Major Crimes Task Force.
