New York Man Charged in April Double Fatal Crash in Deerfield

(Waukegan, IL) A New York man is in the Lake County Jail, after being charged in connection with a Deerfield crash that killed two people earlier this year.
Officials say Josue Noboa was drag racing another vehicle on I-94 back in April, when that other vehicle ended up in a wreck with two semis.
The crash killed two of three people inside that vehicle…and Noboa is accused of fleeing the scene.
The 22-year-old was arrested Monday and is charged with three counts of reckless homicide and one count of leaving the scene of an accident involving death.
Bond has been set at 1-million-dollars.
