Not Guilty Pleas In Infant’s Death
KENOSHA, WI—The Kenosha couple accused in the death of their infant daughter are one step closer to trial.
36 year old Hezile Frison and 22 year old Monica Adams both pleaded not guilty at a Friday hearing. Additionally the defense for Frison asked for the two parents of 2 month old Jalisa Adams-Frison to be tried separately. Adams side raised no objection.
The two are charged with hiding their daughter’s body after her death in an overgrown area near 50th street and 52nd avenue. Her body was never found but evidence that it had been there was apparently discovered.
The baby may have died from a co-sleeping death. A relative the couple was living with eventually reported the child missing leading to an investigation into the couple. A search later ensued for the hidden body.
The couple is due back in court in January.
