One Dead, Several Hurt in Round Lake Park Shooting

(Round Lake Park, IL) One person dead, several others were injured after shots were fired at a party in Round Lake Park.
The incident took place in the pre-dawn hours of Sunday at a home in the 500 block of Fairlawn Avenue.
Police say a family gathering was taking place when the shots rang out. One person, who hasn’t been identified, was pronounced dead…two people were hospitalized in critical condition, and a 4th person was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
No arrests have been announced at this point. The situation remains under investigation by Round Lake Park Police and the Lake County Major Crimes Task Force.
