One Injured in Bicycle vs SUV Crash

KENOSHA, WI (WLIP)–A bicyclist was struck in Pleasant Prairie.
It happened just before 7 PM Wednesday in the 3000 of Highway 165 near the Kenosha County Bike Trail.
According to Pleasant Prairie Fire, rescue crews assessed a single patient for severe injuries and flight for life was called.
The helicopter landed at Prairie Lane Elementary school by 7:30 and took off again with the injured person by 7:45 PM.
The person was taken to Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee and their condition was not immediately updated.
The crash scene was cleared by just after 8 PM.
The crash remains under investigation.
