Park City Woman’s Trial Date Set in Death of Child

(Waukegan, IL) A Park City woman facing charges for allegedly denying her son his heart transplant medication, will go to trial next year.
Jennifer Stroud faces charges of involuntary manslaughter and endangering the life of a child in the death of her son Jason back in 2016.
Her now ex-husband David has already pleaded guilty and is serving a 5-year prison term. A plea deal was in the works for Jennifer, but talks fell apart over the summer. Trial is now set for February 18th.
