Police Investigate Two Armed Robberies Monday Night

KENOSHA, WI (WLIP)–Kenosha Police are searching for suspects after two more armed robberies were reported Monday night. The first happened around 7:30 PM at a restaurant near 39th Avenue and 52nd Street in Kenosha.

According to scanner reports, a heavy set black male dressed in all black displayed a gun and demanded cash. He then escaped but the amount of money he took was not released.

About an hour later, officers were called to an attempted robbery at the Green Bay Road Dollar Tree just before 9 PM. The suspect was described as a black male with a black hooded sweatshirt.

No money was stolen and no injuries were reported.
