Police: Man confessed to killing wife in Walworth County

TOWN OF DELAVAN, Wis. (AP) — Police say a man in the Town of Delavan has confessed to fatally stabbing his wife.
Authorities say the man called police about 10:30 a.m. Sunday for an unknown problem. But, while officers were en route he told dispatchers he had stabbed his wife. The 56-year-old man was standing in the driveway of his home when police arrived. He was arrested and taken to the Walworth County Jail. He’s expected in court Monday.
No identities have been released.
