Property Tax Bills To Be Mailed This Week

KENOSHA, WI (WLIP)–December has a lot of traditions that many look forward to but this one usually isn’t.

The Kenosha County Treasurer’s Office will begin to send out property tax bills this week and property owners in the city will have to pay at least a portion of the bill by the end of January to their municipal treasurer’s office to avoid penalties.

One part of the tradition-waiting to pay the bill in person-will most likely be much different with Covid-19 restrictions in play.

Kenosha County Treasurer Teri Jacobson says that you should check to see if in-person payment options are available before heading out as several municipal facilities are still closed.
