Reckless Homicide Charges Filed Against Antioch Man in Fatal Car vs. Train Crash

(Ingleside, IL) An Antioch man who survived a train vs. vehicle crash late last year, is now facing charges from that incident. Back on December 18th, a vehicle reportedly went through downed railroad gates and warning lights along Wilson Road in Ingleside, only to be struck by a Metra train. Killed in the crash were 75-year-old Patricia Shemberger of Antioch and her grandson, 13-year-old Noah Kucinski of Lockport. A months-long investigation has led to charges against the driver of the vehicle, Anthony Shemberger. A Lake County Grand Jury has approved two counts of reckless homicideā€¦the 71-year-old is due in court next Thursday.
