Search Suspended for Missing Diver in Lake Michigan, Operations to Resume

Pleasant Prairie, WI (WLIP)—Recovery efforts for a missing diver in Lake Michigan were paused for the day Wednesday due to lake conditions.
Operations were set to resume Wednesday morning.
The diver, who was exploring a shipwreck approximately six miles off the coast of Pleasant Prairie in water over 100 feet deep, was reported missing at 11:30 a.m. yesterday.
Multiple agencies, including the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department, Pleasant Prairie Police and Fire Departments, and the U.S. Coast Guard, are coordinating in the search.
