Shots Fired at Home; Hits Wall Near Crib

KENOSHA, WI–Kenosha Police investigating a shots fired incident that happened Monday night.

The incident happened around 11 PM near the 5-thousand block of 25th Avenue. According to police reports, a vehicle drove by a home in the neighborhood, made a u-turn and when it came by again a shot was fired.

The bullet went through a wall in a nearby building and lodged in a wall above a crib where a two year old was sleeping.

Police say a 9-millimeter shell casing was found at the scene. It’s unclear why the shooting targeted the house.
