Stinebrink’s To Take Over North Side Piggly Wiggly

KENOSHA, WI–Stinebrink’s will be the new owners of a grocery store on Kenosha’s north side.

The franchise owners of four stores already, Stinebrink’s is looking to add the Piggly Wiggly on 14th Place by the end of August.

The corporate owned store was put up for franchise this week with an announcement to the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development that 59 employees would be laid off.

As heard first on WLIP, Stinebrink’s will take over the store but those employees will have to reapply for their jobs. Stinebrink’s owns two other supermarkets in Kenosha along with one in Delavan and in Lake Geneva.
