Storms Knock Out Power to Thousands

KENOSHA, WI—Powerful storms passed through the Kenosha area yesterday morning, knocking out power to much of the city.

Around 7,000 WE Energies customers were without electricity in Kenosha County during the height of the outage.

Crews worked throughout the day however the extent of the damage meant workers took hours to get power restored.

Most customers were back on by yesterday evening.
