Suspect Accused of Shooting Kenosha Officer to Stand Trial

KENOSHA, WI (WLIP)–A Kenosha man charged with shooting and injuring a Kenosha Police officer will stand trial starting Monday 6/13.
31 year old Jonathan Massey allegedly shot and injured Officer Justin Pruett on August 8th 2020 during a traffic stop before fleeing to Indiana.
He was later found and arrested there a few days later.
Massey is charged with multiple felonies, including Attempted 1st degree intentional homicide, possession of a firearm by a felon, and bail jumping.
If convicted he faces 80 years in prison.
