Suspect Arrested Following Crash

KENOSHA, Wis. (WLIP) — Authorities have arrested the alleged driver in a hit-and-run crash that sent a pedestrian to the hospital with serious injuries.
69 year old Leonel Vera Gonzalez, of Kenosha has been arrested and is in custody on a felony charge of hit-and-run involving great bodily harm.
Scanner reports indicated that the crash happened around 6 p.m. Saturday.
Kenosha Police reported that the crash happened on Sheridan Road between 58th and 60th streets.
A victim was flown by Flight For Life helicopter to a Milwaukee area hospital.
The investigation is on-going.
