Suspect Sought in Gang Sting Turns Himself In

A Racine man wanted in connection with gang activity turned himself in to the U.S. Marshals Service in Milwaukee Friday. 33-year-old Erik Ynnocencio was one of two men still being sought by federal authorities following a raid Thursday targeting gang members in southeastern Wisconsin and northern Illinois. Two homes in Kenosha were among those targeted in the raid. Ynnocencio was wanted for his alleged involvement in the Maniac Latin Disciples. The FBI is still seeking information on 30-year-old Fabian Melendez, of Waukegan, who is suspected of involvement in the same gang. Thursday’s raid resulted in the arrest of 28 people and confiscation of 40 pounds of marijuana and $80,000 in cash.
