Swimming At Kenosha Beaches Allowed As Water Quality Improves

Kenosha, WI (WLIP)—Water quality conditions have improved at lakefront beaches and swimming is once again allowed at Pennoyer, Eichelman, Southport and Simmons Island Parks.
Swimming had been banned last week due to poor water quality following large waves and heavy rainfall on Monday, July 15. Testing of samples this weekend showed water quality had returned to a good condition.
