Teen Suspect in Waukegan Murder Identified, Charged

(Waukegan, IL) A 17-year-old charged in a Waukegan homicide has been identified. Larry Mackins faces three counts of first-degree murder in the June 8th shooting death of Kyron Goode. The 18-year-old was shot outside of an apartment building along Genesee Street in broad daylight. Mackins was arrested in Kenosha after the incident. Bond for the teen has been set at 3-million-dollars with a court date set for July 12th. Police say a second suspect has been identified…but has not yet been caught.
