KENOSHA, WI—Threats were made against two of Kenosha’s high schools yesterday but authorities are now saying that the issues have been resolved, and both schools will be open today.

A viral snapchat post made the rounds last night where a student apparently threatens a school shooting. The post was obtained by WLIP. It said in part “….someone said that they were going to shoot up Tremper and is also going for certain people…”

WLIP has learned that an arrest has been made in relation to that threat. Extra patrols will be at the school today.

Another separate threat was made for Bradford, however that threat was not deemed credible. That comes on the heels of a planned tribute tonight for murdered student Kaylie Juga and the district’s third count day-in which attendance determines the schools enrollment and therefore funding for the year.
