Pleasant Prairie police arrested two people early Saturday, following a vehicle pursuit that reached almost 100 mph. According to police, The pair attempted to evade officers before their vehicle went into a ditch near Anderson Park around 1:40am. Officers took a 38-year-old Zion man into custody. Police recommended a charge of operating while intoxicated and felony fleeing and eluding. A 27-year-old Waukegan man who was a passenger in the car, was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant.
