“Unlawful Gathering” Leads to Pair of Arrests in Lake County

(Round Lake, IL) Two Waukegan men were arrested, after causing problems at what police called an “unlawful gathering.” Officials responded early Sunday morning to the Round Lake area where a party was broken up…but the party goers reportedly stayed in the neighborhood, drank in the streets, blocked off traffic, and damaged yards. One person, identified as 21-year-old Ramon Basurto, was arrested after allegedly throwing a beer bottle at a Lake County Sheriff’s Deputy. 21-year-old Jarvion Allen was arrested after attempting to punch a Round Lake Police officer and threatening the family of a Lake County Sheriff’s Deputy. Both are being held, pending “first appearance” court.
