Unruly Crowds Causes Perrine’s to Close

KENOSHA, WI–Unruly crowds in the middle of the night are causing one Kenosha business to close during certain hours.

Lou Perrine’s Gas and Grocery on Sheridan Road has been dealing with an escalating problem for months when crowds pack the station after the bars close and loiter.

The situation had been getting out of control despite the hiring of extra security and the addition of barricades along particular areas of the lot.

A fight this past weekend became the last straw and now the business will close between 2 and 3 AM on weekends to try and avoid the problem.

The change is expected to cost the business tens of thousands of dollars in lost revenue over the course of a year.
