(North Chicago, IL) A third Waukegan resident has been charged in a North Chicago homicide that took place last week. Lake County Major Crime Task Force officials on Monday said 35-year-old Seferino Calihua-Rodriguez allegedly hired 26-year-old Misael Chavarin-Plazola to kill an ex-girlfriend. That woman, who has not yet been identified, was shot and killed last Friday morning in the 1-thousand-block of Victoria Avenue. Authorities now say a third man, 29-year-old Rosalio Diaz Zarate, was the getaway driver for the alleged shooter, and has also been taken into custody. All three suspects face multiple first-degree murder counts, among other charges.
