Update: Woman Dies After Being Pulled from Lake

(Round Lake Beach, IL) A woman that was pulled from a lake over the weekend has died.
The woman was rescued from the water Saturday at Lakefront Park near Round Lake Beach, and was transported to Advocate Condell in Libertyville, where she was pronounced dead on Sunday morning. Information from Round Lake Beach police originally said the victim was a 76-year-old woman from Wheeling.
But officials now say she is a 66-year-old woman from Mexico, that was visiting family in Wheeling and Round Lake Beach. The Lake County Coroner’s Office is working on an official identification.
