Waukegan Man Charged With Abuse, Knowingly Transmitting HIV

(Waukegan, IL) A Waukegan man has been arrested on several charges.
Lake County Sheriff’s officials say Marcus Davis met a boy on a dating app when the boy was 15. The two then reportedly engaged in sexual acts until the boy was 16.
Davis is HIV positive, but didn’t tell the teen until after they had engaged in their relationship. That boy has since contracted the disease.
The 29-year-old now faces charges including aggravated criminal sexual abuse, and criminal transmission of HIV.
