Vander Tuuk 6-7-19

(Chicago, IL) A Riverwoods business man is facing a sweeping federal indictment. The U.S. Attorney’s Office says Yale Schiff is facing 11 counts of bank fraud, and two counts of aggravated identity theft. Prosecutors say the 44-year-old falsely claimed that loans on properties were paid in full, while in reality he kept the loans, as well as proceeds from sales of the property. He is also accused using false and stolen financial information to get loans for expensive vehicles, which he then resold for profit, while keeping the loan money….among other alleged crimes. Schiff could face significant prison time, and massive fines if convicted. Future court dates are currently unknown.
