Woman Charged With Keeping a Place of Prostitution

A 22-year-old year old woman being treated at a local hospital this week told staff she was being forced into prostitution, leading to the arrest of the person she said was acting as her pimp. According to Kenosha Police, the woman told officers that last summer 27-year-old Arielle Kelly told her she could live with her and that she would take care of her if she would have sex with men for money. The woman told police that Kelly placed advertisements for prostitution on websites, and that men would come to their home on the 1700 block of 71st Street to have sex in exchange for money. Kelly made her initial court appearance Friday on charges of keeping a place of prostitution and misdemeanor bail jumping. She is being held on $3,000 cash bond.
