A Dozen Arrests in Human Trafficking Suppression Operation in Lake County (Mugshots Included)

(Waukegan, IL) Lake County Sheriff’s officials have announced a dozen arrests, targeting the customers of prostitutes. The 12 men were nabbed as part of a human trafficking suppression campaign using an online classified ad of sorts. The suspects range in age from 19 to 71, and came from areas including Chicago, as well as other areas of Cook, Lake, McHenry and Kenosha Counties. All of the arrestees were hit with a class A misdemeanor charge of solicitation of a sexual act. All were granted pretrial release, and given a December 21st court date.
