Chase That Started in Wisconsin, Ends in Fox Lake Fatal Crash

(Fox Lake, IL) An investigation is underway after a fatal crash in the Fox Lake area.
Officials say the incident started on Sunday night in Genoa City, Wisconsin…when police attempted to stop a vehicle. That car fled leading to a chase down Route 173.
Eventually, the suspect vehicle ran off the road in Fox Lake, striking a tree near Converse Road.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene, two others were seriously hurt.
No more about the incident is known at this time.
