Governor Changing Regional Coronavirus Plan

(Chicago, IL) Governor JB Pritzker has separated suburban areas from the city of Chicago, in an effort to better track, and slow down potential Coronavirus hot spots.
Lake County now sits in the North Suburban Region along with neighboring McHenry County. The Governor says the move allows the state to tighten restrictions when warranted, and also allows targeted mobile testing, like the pop-up site last Sunday, and this coming Sunday in Lake Zurich.
Some factors that would lead to increased restrictions include 7 straight days of hospital increases in Covid patients, a 20% or more reduction in ICU beds, and/or issues tied to the positive infection rate.
