KENOSHA, WI—We’re learning more info about the Huffhines vaping case.

Brothers Tyler and Jacob Hiffhines were in court for a preliminary hearing yesterday. They’re accused of being behind an illegal vape manufacturing operation in a Kenosha County condo.

Investigators allegedly found 50 liter containers of THC oils and 18 pounds of marijuana as well as thousands of empty cartridges. There were even different flavors of vapes found at the scene.

The brothers were reportedly using social media to promote their products and even had merchandise that would be dropped off to vendors when the product was delivered. A warrant for the suspects’ phones revealed messages between the two talking about the business.

Defense attorneys are looking to squash statements to authorities by Tyler Hiffhines in which he reportedly admitted to running the operation, saying he asked for an attorney three times during an interrogation. The two are back in court next month.
