KENOSHA, WI (WLIP)–As the effort to vaccinate against Covid-19 continues into a new week, Kenosha County is expanding its outreach to the community. The county is partnering with the Grace Welcome Center to host a community vaccination clinic tomorrow from 2 until 5:30 PM. The center is on 60th Street and 20th Avenue.

The county says that vaccination doses will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last, with no appointment needed and no requirement to show I.D. Additionally the city of Kenosha is offering bus rides for free for those on their way to get vaccinated, who show an appointment card.

Nearly 26-percent of Kenosha County residents have received at least one dose of the vaccine with just over 16 percent now fully vaccinated.

The county wants to reach 75 percent of the population immunized to reach herd immunity.

The county’s main vaccination clinic at the old Shopko will be closed on Good Friday.
