Kenosha Mayor Speaks on Death of Former Kenosha Alderperson

(Kenosha, WI) Kenosha Mayor John Antaramian paid tribute to former alderperson Kathy Marks who recently passed away. The mayor made the comments at last week’s Kenosha Common Council meeting after Marks’ untimely passing earlier this month. Marks served as an alderperson from 1992 until 2012 as the first African-American woman to hold elected office in Kenosha’s history. She was currently serving as a community outreach coordinator for the city of Kenosha as well as many other official and unofficial positions. Marks was 66 years old.
