Monday Morning QB: Wild Week 9 Wraps Up H.S. Reg. Season

KENOSHA, WI (WLIP)–The St Joseph Catholic Academy Lancers spread four touchdowns across all four quarters as they topped the Racine Lutheran Crusaders 28-7 on the WLIP Game of the Week Friday night.

Jayden Gordon scored three touchdowns, including returning the second half kickoff for 87 yards and a score.

Eric Kenesie ran for a 31 yard TD in the fourth quarter.

The Crusaders scored their 7 on a 27 yard pass from Eli Gasau to Lawryn Rhinehouse.

Kenesie finished 4/8 for 27 yards as QB; he also rushed for 76 yards on 14 attempts. Gordon led the Lancers with 129 yards on 21 attempts, averaging 5.9 yards per attempt.

Elsewhere…

–Westosha Central topped rival Wilmot 42-7; After a scoreless first quarter the Falcons lit the board for four scores before halftime.

QB Brock Koeppel was 20 of 24 for 231 yards, 4 TDs, and no picks.

Nick Bundza led Central with 40 yards on the ground on 8 attempts;

Colin Meininger caught four TDs and totaled 136 yards receiving on 10 receptions.

–Indian Trail scored 21 points in the first quarter and went on to shut down Racine Case 21-0.
