Pleasant Prairie Deals Bomb Threat; Bank Robbery At Same Time Saturday

Kenosha, WI (WLIP)–It was a busy Saturday for authorities in Pleasant Prairie.

It started around 12:30 PM with a bomb threat made against the Costco in the village.

The store was evacuated and bomb sniffing dogs as well as human officers conducted a thorough search before clearing the building.

During the time the bomb threat was called in, a man robbed the Chase Bank on 39th Avenue in Pleasant Prairie.

The suspect is described as white male between 40 and 50 years old.

He is approximately between 5-10 and 5-11 feet tall with blue eyes.

He wore black pants, black hat, a surgical mask, black gloves, and aviator style sunglasses.

Police did not draw a direct connection between the two incidents.

No injuries were reported in either case.

Both incidents remain under investigation.
