Volunteers to Offer Door to Door Fire Safety Checks

KENOSHA, WI–The Kenosha Fire Department has long offered free smoke detectors for Kenosha residents, now they will bring them right to your door.
The department, along with the Red Cross and Kenosha’s Journey Church will be taking to the streets on October 12th to make sure that as many homes as possible take advantage of the program.
Guy Santelli, with the Kenosha Fire Prevention and Safety Bureau, told WLIP’s Wake Up Kenosha that it’s a volunteer effort.
This round of efforts will be in several neighborhoods on the northside of the city.
