MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Health officials have confirmed nearly five hundred more cases of COVID-19 in Wisconsin.

The state Department of Health Services said Monday that the state has seen thirty-two thousand sixty-one cases since the pandemic began in March.

That’s an increase of four hundred eighty-four cases since Sunday. The death toll has held steady at seven hundred ninety-six since July third, however, and nearly eighty percent of victims have recovered.

As of Monday the state had six thousand eighteen active cases.
