Armed Robbery Beach Park

(Beach Park, IL) The Lake County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after an armed robbery in Beach Park.
The incident took place on Tuesday night just before 10 o’clock at the 7-Eleven in the 37-thousand-block of North Green Bay Road. Two male subjects were said to enter the store, with one asking the clerk to make change. That’s when the other subject pulled a pistol and demanded money from the register.
The pair made off with money and cigarettes…the clerk was uninjured. Anyone with more information on the crime is being encouraged to contact the Lake County Sheriff’s Office or Lake County Crimestoppers.
